Ack
Ack.
That single word sums up my weekend.
My head is stuffed with – well, we needn’t go into details. Let’s just say it’s stuffed with something unpleasant.
And stuffed with sufficient pressure to make life miserable.
Which is the exact opposite of what this weekend should have been. Fresh off not one but two book signings? One new book just sold, another begun?
Oh wait. With all the blathering I’ve been doing about the signings, I don’t think I ever even mentioned ‘The Banshee’s Walk.’
I should have. It was accepted, which means the sequel to ‘Hold the Dark’ will be hitting the shelves, virtual or print, the middle of this year.
But what I’ve done mostly is doze. And sneeze. I’ve done lots of sneezing. The dogs are even sick of me sneezing. They give me this ‘What, again?’ look when I sneeze now.
And then they roll back over and go back to sleep. I envy them that.
The sneezing has resumed. I must close. To recap: Cold. The sale of a new Markhat novel, the longest yet at 80K words, entitled ‘The Banshee’s Walk.’
And here’s a pic from the book signing at the Barnes & Noble. I’d planned to do a whole entry on the signings but that will have to wait until I’m over this.
